Joseph has grown in the tourism industry for a long period of over 10 years, He started as a guest relation officer, assisted and managed visitors to community development projects, assistant lodge manager, and worked as a booking and reservations manager in different tourism companies in both Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.

Peter Petro

Peter has extensive knowledge and experience in wildlife, nature, and local culture, and has over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry with a very wide knowledge of the wildlife activities in East Africa National Parks; He can provide accurate and interesting information about animals, plants, and people in the area, making the safari experience more educational and enjoyable. As a guide, he likes to make sure that his clients feel safe and that he always wants to meet their expectations.

Innocent 

Innocent has been leading climbs on Kilimanjaro for over 10 years and has reached the summit well over 40 times. Chosen for his experience and professionalism, Innocent started his Kilimanjaro career as a porter in 2009 and has risen to become a leading guide. His achievements have led him to success in climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, and Mt Oldonyo Lengai.

One of our wilderness-first responder guides, Innocent has excellent personal communication skills and a sense of humor, as well as a great command of English, a genuine bush lover and nature fanatic.

VISIT NDUTU AREA

The Ndutu area forms part of the northern section of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stretches to the unfenced southern reaches of the Serengeti National Park, a meeting point between these two incredible wilderness areas. MAASAI VILLAGE VISIT

Leisurely walk to the village across the rolling hills of the plateau. Spend time with the villagers, find out about their way of life, and join in their exuberant singing and dancing. They are usually defined by their colorful clothes which varies by sex, age and place. Having a large number of livestock is a sign of wealth for any Maasai man. LAKE EYASI VISIT

Another travel destination with Hadzabe people living here for over 10,000 years, one of the last bastions of ancient African tribal life. Watching an early morning hunting display, gathering honey, and traditional dance performances are all part of the experience. The Hadzabe live in caves and they prefer wearing small bits of animal skin to cover their private parts. A visit to their community is a cultural experience not to be missed, and it all happens against the backdrop of beautiful Lake Eyasi

MTO WA MBU VISIT

Get a good feel for the social side of the village – the farms and the milling machines, the schools, markets and churches. You’ll likely visit the village banana plantation as well as a youth art project, and a wood workshop where you can watch skilled Makonde tribe members carve intricate figurines, masks and household objects. Maybe you also like to visit to a local ‘bar’ so you can try mbege. This is the traditional banana and millet beer that is brewed and drunk mainly by the Chagga tribe.
